About Us

Located in Brooklyn New York, Bay Ridge Baptist Church seeks to shine the light of the Gospel into the darkness of New York City. This is a church that emphasizes sound doctrine and the preaching of God's word. There is both verse-by-verse expository preaching, and also systematic teaching through doctrine.

 

We believe in the verbal plenary inspiration of the Bible. We believe in the one true triune God - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We emphasize Jesus Christ and His finished work. He is the Son of God who was miraculously born of a virgin, and who came in the flesh to live a perfect life and die for our sins on the cross. He was resurrected on the third day and is now exalted at the right hand of the Father.

We strive to cultivate a culture of joyful worship, strong biblical understanding, and selfless sacrificial love. We have hearts focused first on love for Christ, and then on reaching out to one another and our surrounding community. We emphasize the Great Commission - our responsibility to share the Gospel with those around us and with those across the globe.
